HI 146-00, HI 146-01 and the new water proof HI 146-99 are high accuracy thermometers with a professional probe and a 2 meter cable. They also incorporate the exclusive Cal-Check^TM feature which allows you to double-check the accuracy of the meter any time. The design and the characteristics of the meters together with a stainless steel probe and an optional probe holder make these thermometers ideal for controlling the temperature of liquids, semisolids and refrigerated foodstuffs. HI 146-00 and HI 146-99 can be installed easily in a fixed position utilizing the molded eye, as well as the probe holder, or it can be hung with a lanyard right where it is most needed. This way, the meter can monitor the exact temperature of any product continuously and show it on a large LCD display.
Accurate Measurements with the Cal-Check^TM Feature: In order to make sure that the meter is reporting the correct temperature, HI 146 has been designed with the exclusive Hanna Cal-Check^TM switch. By simply setting the switch from READ to TEST and without requiring any external equipment, users can ensure the accuracy of the meter. In the TEST mode, HI 146 shows 0.0 °C (or 32.0°F) ±0.3°C (±0.5°F) which is the accuracy of the meter. With this Hanna innovation, the accuracy can be checked throughout the life of the thermometer without requiring any accessories or additional invesTMents.
