HI 83218 combines all the necessary tests for environmental analysis in one bench meter. HI 83218 works with 9V batteries or a 12 VDC power adapter. The compact HI 83218 is ideal for laboratories as well as for quick results in the field. The HI 83218 is designed to be simple to use and offer high precision measurements at a low cost per test. This multi-parameter photometer provides for the analysis of six important environmental parameters in nine ranges. Measured parameters include ammonia, chromium VI, cyanide, nitrate, nitrite and phosphorous. In order to improve resolution and cover a wider range, there are dual scales for ammonia, chromium and nitrite. To perform a measurement simply insert a cuvet containing the water to be measured and press the ZERO button. Next add the appropriate reagent and press the READ button. The concentration is displayed directly in mg/L in seconds on the large LCD!
