These instruments are similar to the SAMA general purpose thermometers. They are mounted in nickel plated brass armor to withstand rough handling and shock during use. They are made with flat tops, and can easily be inserted or removed from the armor without tools. The armor has ring tops for suspension where necessary. They are supplied in yellow back for greater legibility, and are accurate to within NIST tolerances.
