1. Safe to operate: heater thermostat protects the Merit from overheating in the event of water supply failure. CE mark and full compliance with IEC1010.
   
   
2. Simple to install: The Merit is compact in size with a small metal stand. It can be used on a bench or wall mounted to save space.
   
   
3. Connectability: The condenser plumbing connections are via screw thread connectors. They allow hose to be quickly fitted or removed without excess force, avoiding the danger of glassware breakage.
   
   
4. Drain stopcocks: The Merit is fitted with a drain stop-cock to allow for easy cleaning. The built-in funnel allows cleaning solutions to be added to the boiler safely without dismantling the glassware. Acid residues can easily be drained away through the PTFE stopcock.
