The Merit Water Still combines economy and high performance with a host of additional features that comparable stills cannot match. Inlet water supply of 1 liter per minute with a minimum pressure of 3 psi, 220/240V, 50-60Hz, single phase 13A fused supply with an output of 4 liters per hour. Output water specifications (in parts per million):

Bibby Sterilin Ltd warrants this instrument - NOT INCLUDING THE HEATER ELEMENT - to be free from defects in material and workmanship, when used under normal laboratory conditions, for a period of two (2) years. - Safe to operate: heater thermostat protects the Merit from overheating in the event of water supply failure. CE mark and full compliance with IEC1010.
- Simple to install: The Merit is compact in size with a small metal stand. It can be used on a bench or wall mounted to save space.
- Connectability: The condenser plumbing connections are via screw thread connectors. They allow hose to be quickly fitted or removed without excess force, avoiding the danger of glassware breakage.
- Drain stopcocks: The Merit is fitted with a drain stop-cock to allow for easy cleaning. The built-in funnel allows cleaning solutions to be added to the boiler safely without dismantling the glassware. Acid residues can easily be drained away through the PTFE stopcock.
